My All American Road Trip

So, after making my blog I sort wandered away from it, always with the intention of coming back, it's something that I've always wanted to do but I need to get better at planning. As I have just started my third year of uni, I've planned in one day a week where I will post on here.

Anyway, to get on to what this post is actually about, my trip to America. This summer, myself along with my sister and her friend travelled to America for 4 weeks. The trip was broken up into three sections, the first being our road trip around California.

The trip turned out to be one of the most amazing events of my life, and its hard to comprehend everything that we fitted into our time away. The road trip was definitely my favourite part as we got to see so much and so many different landscapes; so different from our's back home. Today I thought I would share with you just a few of the 800 photographs that I took. I hope you enjoy them.

We started our trip in LA, this was the view from our hostel.
This is where we stayed the first night in the RV; it's amazing we didn't hit any of those rocks when we parked up in the dark!
This was my sleeping quarters for the two weeks in the RV. Bit small but cosy.
I took so many photos like this. The longs roads just seemed to stretch on forever.
Driving into Vegas.
Calistoga, in the Napa Valley.

Calistoga.

Our RV by the side of the road at Bass Lake.

Yosemite National Park; my favourite place.

The Creek where we swam in Yosemite.

San Francisco was so great.
So those were a few of the photos from my trip, I'll be adding some more next time from the time in New York and Florida. I hope you liked them.

Hello!

So I made this blog a while ago and still haven't posted anything but as I've just finished my second year at University I thought it was about time I changed that!

This post was just to say hello to the blogging world. I've been reading and following so many different blogs for years now, but I'm very new to having my own blog, so don't judge!

I've got lots of ideas about things I could show people and something I'm really excited about is my trip to America which is coming up thick and fast on me. I fly out with my sister and her friend from Uni mid July and tour around America for a month. Super excited!

Anyway, here's one of my early oil paintings: a self portrait to show you a little of what I do.
